UK2026-10-24 12:17:00UK FCA says crypto apps that route trades for users may need authorizationThe UK Financial Conduct Authority has issued draft guidance, CP26-36, saying some crypto trading apps may fall within the scope of regulated activity if they choose where or how a client’s order is executed. The proposal focuses on apps that select a trading venue or execution route based on factors such as price, liquidity, cost, or speed. Under the draft, that conduct could amount to "arranging cryptoasset deals" and would require authorization under new rules due to take effect on Oct. 25, 2027. The FCA also said signs of discretionary involvement include modifying trading instructions, deciding when an order is executed, or routing based on counterparty risk and expected outcomes. Automation does not remove responsibility from the developer or operator, according to the draft. By contrast, interfaces that only transmit orders and do not affect execution may qualify for a technical services exemption. Existing UK crypto firms would need to apply between Sept. 30, 2026 and Feb. 28, 2027. The consultation period runs until Nov. 18, and the FCA is targeting January 2027 for the final version, although the consultation paper refers to spring.00
GMX2026-10-22 14:56:55GMX opens Builder Fees on Solana, letting developers charge on user ordersGMX said on X that it has enabled Builder Fees on Solana, introducing a mechanism that allows third-party developers to earn fees from user trading activity. Under the setup, developers can build trading interfaces, route orders, or create automation tools, then charge a fee on each position order submitted by users through those integrations. GMX said developers must publish their fee rates on-chain, while traders must sign off on that rate in every order. The fee is added on top of the platform’s standard trading fee and is calculated based on position changes. GMX gave one example: if a position increases by $1,000 and the fee rate is 0.01%, the charge would be $0.10. The final amount is settled to the developer’s claimable vault. Orders submitted through developer-built interfaces will still use the same liquidity pool, oracle pricing, and price impact rules as other orders on the platform. GMX said the feature applies to market and limit increase orders, decrease orders, and stop-loss decrease orders, but not to swaps, liquidations, or ADL.260
Binance2026-10-20 03:10:17Binance rolls out spot auto-routing for orders across eligible pairsBinance said on Oct. 12 that it has launched an automatic order routing feature for spot trading and plans to make it available to eligible trading pairs by Oct. 20. The tool checks execution paths at the time an order is placed, comparing a direct trading pair with routes that pass through a highly liquid intermediary pair, then selects the better-priced option. Users are charged a single standard spot trading fee for the execution. Binance said the feature supports limit GTC, limit IOC, and market buy and sell orders. It can be turned on or off from the trading mode drop-down menu. The update was cited by Crypto Briefing and summarized by Techub News.530
Rialto2026-07-16 09:02:11Rialto teams up with Robinhood Crypto to compete for onchain order flowRialto is pitching itself as an onchain spot exchange built around execution rather than simple asset listings, with support for crypto assets, stock tokens, ETFs and commodities on Robinhood Chain. The project has emerged alongside Robinhood Crypto, Offchain and Arbitrum, and says its key differentiator is a routing model that compares multiple liquidity sources for every trade. At the center of that design is propAMM, Rialto’s term for an onchain market maker that quotes with its own inventory and pricing logic while continuously referencing external markets. The system evaluates real-time quotes from propAMMs and traditional DEX pools, ranks routes by net output after network costs, and settles the winning path atomically onchain. Orders can also be split across venues when that improves execution. Rialto says its in-house propAMM, Rivo Altus, competes alongside outside liquidity for each order instead of receiving flow by default. The platform has also launched a partner program for apps, terminals, bots and agents, with its swap API already integrated by Arcus, Index and LI.FI. According to data shown on Rialto’s website, ETH is currently the most active asset on the platform with about $128 million in 24-hour volume, while most individual stock tokens remain in the thousands to tens of thousands of dollars range.1220

Phantom2026-06-30 02:40:27Phantom Prediction Market Disclosures: New Positions Since June 1 Backed by Solana Non-Custodial Protocol World, No User Fund CustodyOn June 24, Solana ecosystem leading wallet Phantom released a prediction market disclosure statement, clarifying that as of June 1, 2026, all new positions in its prediction market have been supported by World Prediction Markets (World). World is a non-custodial prediction market protocol running on Solana, responsible for order routing and automated settlement at expiration. Phantom acts solely as a front-end interface, does not hold user funds, does not take opposing sides, and does not engage in market making. This adjustment means that when Phantom users participate in prediction markets, fund security and settlement are guaranteed by the on-chain protocol, while the wallet layer assumes no counterparty risk.2120
